Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Cooper earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma. After practicing in Chicago, he moved his family to Scottsdale and founded Grayhawk Dental Associates in 2004.

A passion for excellence
Dr. Cooper has well over two decades of experience in dentistry. He has received numerous distinctions and awards, including being named Top Dentist by Phoenix Magazine.
From a young age, his mother saw that he had great dexterity, a desire to care for others, an interest in fixing what was broken, and a desire to create. She encouraged him to become a dentist. He loved dental school from day one and has never looked back.
Smile makeovers are one of his favorite areas of dentistry, because restoring a person’s smile also restores their self-confidence. Whether you need routine care or a full mouth restoration after an accident or traumatic event, Dr. Cooper has the knowledge and expertise to care for you.
He is a personable dentist with excellent communication skills, able to calm dental fears, reassure patients, and provide every service with a gentle touch.
On a personal note
Dr. Cooper lives in Scottsdale with his wife and three children. He believes in giving back to the community his family calls home, and regularly volunteers his time for local causes.
